VIDEO POKER TOURNAMENT (New!) Friday October 3, 2008 California Hotel Casino Mezzanine Level Entry Fee: $20.00 Session A: 7:30 PM - 7:50 PM Session B: 8:00 PM - 8:20 PM Session C: 8:30 PM - 8:50 PM Please check-in 15 minutes prior to your session. Boyd Gaming has graciously allowed our reunion to have a Video Poker Tournament - our group only! Like the Slot Tournament, the sessions are 20 minutes each starting at 7:30 PM, with a maximum of 30 people each session. The final number of sessions and times will be determined by the number of people signed up. Unlike the Slot Tournament, not everyone will receive a prize since it is based on 90% skill and 10% luck. In other words, you gotta think! Everyone will start with 1,500 points, and the contestants ending up with the most points will receive a cash prize. The prize structure (1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place, 4th place, etc.) will be determined on the total number of entrants. There will be a 10% gratuity for the Video Poker Attendant. Please select your preferred session on the Registration Form. If a session becomes full, or there is not enough people for your selected session, you will be assigned to the next available session. Note: The Video Poker Tournament may be pre-empted by Casino Marketing if they schedule one of their regular Video Poker Tournaments for that time. We will be notified 6-8 weeks prior to the event if this happens, and everyone will receive a full refund. I was informed that although it would be quite unlikely that a Casino Video Poker Tournament would be scheduled at the same time, this is a "just in case" scenario. SLOT TOURNAMENT  Saturday October 4, 2008 Main Street Casino Entry Fee: $20.00 Everyone Wins! Session A: 10:00 AM - 10:20 AM Session B: 10:30 AM - 10:50 AM Session C: 11:00 AM - 11:20 AM Session D: 11:30 AM - 11:50 AM Please check-in 15 minutes prior to your session. The Slot Tournament will be held at the Main Street Casino which is just accross the bridge connected to the California Hotel from the 2nd floor. The sessions are 20 minutes each starting from 10:00 AM, with a maximum of 30 people per session. The final number of sessions and times will be determined by the number of people signed up. The prize structure will be determined on the total number of entrants, but will be structured so that EVERYONE will receive something, even last place. This is a "no brainer".....all luck! But as the contestants from our last reuinon will tell you, get your finger and/or arm in shape! The faster you press the button or pull the lever, the more chances you have in hitting jackpots! There is a 10% gratuity for the Slot Attendant. Please select your preferred session on the Registration Page. If a session becomes full, or there is not enough people for your preferred session, you will be assigned to the next available session. Slot Tournament 2005 Reunion GOLF TOURNAMENT The Golf Tournament will be held over two days, with teams competing against each other. There will also be individual competition and "Closest to the Pin". For those who can play/enter for one day, there is a One Day Tournament Only. The tournament will be using the Callaway Scoring System. Fees include the Green Fees, Tournament Fees, and Jackpots, Prizes & Awards, and will be presented at the Banquet. The One Day Tournament Prizes, Jackpots, & Awards will be separate from the Two Day Tournament. The golf courses for the Tournament will be at premium courses in Vegas. For out of state golfers, you know that green fees at luxury/premium courses run $125 -150 and up! Thanks to Wayne Lewis (Kaimuki HS) of the Golf Committee, he has secured discount rates for you to play at Vegas' premium courses! And the fee includes prizes! There will be a fun day of golf on Sunday. Teams will made up from all entrants signed up. If you need transportation from your hotel to the golf courses, please indicate it on the Registration Form.
